As autumn settles in, I’ve been embracing the season through a new photo series that captures the quiet magic of upstate New York. This ongoing project explores the documentary nature of weekend escapes. Moments filled with crisp air, warm light, and the simple joy of being surrounded by friends, animals, and open space.

The series features Gaby and her beloved dog Milo wandering through the orchards, and Sydney tending to the goats and chickens on the farm. From apple trees heavy with fruit to fields dotted with pumpkins, each scene tells a quiet story of connection to the land, to animals, and to the calm that exists just beyond the city.

These Sundays have become a gentle rhythm for me, an opportunity to slow down, observe, and photograph the warmth of community and the beauty of nature in transition while enjoying the rich, nostalgic tones of Kodak 200 120 film.
