This shoot was inspired by the colour pink, using it as both an aesthetic choice and a conceptual framework. With Gaby as the model, I worked with strobe lighting to create a sense of warmth and intensity, allowing the colour to shape the atmosphere of each image.
The project reflects on the cultural weight of pink, its associations with femininity, beauty, and stereotypes that continue to define how women are seen. By staging Gaby within this colour saturated world, the series questions these ideas while also celebrating pink as a powerful, expressive force. It becomes both a critique and a reclamation: a way of exploring the significance of a colour that is often dismissed, yet deeply tied to identity and representation.
