Slovenia is a series that weaves together landscape, memory, and companionship. Shot across Lake Bled, mountain trails, and village churches, the work captures Slovenia’s natural beauty while grounding it in lived experience. The shimmer of water, the rush of a hidden waterfall, the laughter of strangers at play.

Central to the series is my friend, whose presence transforms these landscapes into shared moments. By placing her within the scenes, the photographs move beyond observation to become a dialogue between place and person, portrait and environment.

At once documentary and deeply personal, Slovenia is both a professional exploration of light and space, a love letter to the country itself, and to the friendship that shaped how I saw and remembered it.
