This photo series captures my time exploring the lakes and mountains of Lac Vert, nestled in the French Alps. Using my Hasselblad and Kodak ColorPlus 200, I set out to document the subtle and striking shifts in colour that define this landscape, from the vivid greens of the trees and grass to the mirrored blues and silvers reflected in still water.
Much of my focus was on the quiet details: the way tree roots twist through the earth, how reflections ripple across the lake's surface, and how light moves across the landscape. Each frame is an attempt to translate the sensory overload of being fully immersed in nature, the clean mountain air, the scent of damp ground and pine, and the almost meditative stillness broken only by the wind or distant sounds of wildlife.
This project is not just a visual exploration, but also an emotional one. It represents a reflection on solitude, presence, and the quiet intensity of wild places.
